Stubbs & Wootton

Art Direction & Design    |    Agency: BORN

Stubbs & Wootton are well-known for their preppy, “Albert-style” slippers embroidered with designs that are often tongue-in-cheek. While competitors like Del Toro push a trendy and youthful image, I wanted the style of the new Stubbs & Wootton online flagship to reflect its products by keeping its heritage feel, focusing on craftsmanship with a healthy dose of quirk.

The visual language was all about the juxtaposition of classic elements like crests and ribbons with casual playful, handwritten fonts.

Stubbs & Wootton’s online bespoke slipper service is an amazing offering, but was often overlooked on their site. It needed a complete makeover.

The shape of the product tiles is influenced by the crest in Stubbs & Wootton's logo.

The mobile product pages have a 1-column layout to give a luxe feel to the products and provide detail.

The product detail page was super-luxe and simple with a huge product image so you could focus on detail.
